Most expensive cheer uniform ever made

This weekend at Worlds, GK Cheer is showing off their special uniform that's being promoted as the most expensive cheer uniform ever made.  $5,000 and 13,000+ Swarovski crystals sparkle like a cheer uniform has never seen before:

Live stream of NCATA National Championships

USASF Worlds is not the only cheerleading championship happening this weekend. Teams including University of Maryland, Asuza Pacific, University of Maryland, Quinnipiac, and Fairmont State will be competing at the 2nd annual National Collegiate Acrobatic and Tumbling Association National Championships.

Last year at Worlds 2011, the crowd was blown away by the world-first wheelchair partner stunt routine. Rick Rodgers, his flyer, and spotter are determined to get back to Worlds 2012 and put on an even more impressive show than last year and they're asking donations to help get them there.

USA Cheer has recently announced the teams that will be representing the United States in Coed and All Girl for cheer as well as Pom, Jazz, and Hip Hop for dance at the 2012 ICU World Championships.

This is what being a cheer family is all about

A couple of months ago a cheer program in Texas encountered their worst nightmare - their gym was closed and they had nowhere to train.  The girls, their coaches, and their parents then worked many long hard hours to find a new facility, refurbish it, and fund raise to the teams could continue to function.

Reading this story really made me smile because it shows one of the best lessons you can learn in cheerleading - working together you can achieve what at first seems to be impossible.
